Maxwell Shapiro graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor of Science in Business Law, he went on to work in the financial services industry, leading teams of other individuals to help advisors satisfy their clients’ needs. Max holds his Series 6, 7 and 63held through LPL Financial and his 66, held through LPL Financial and Householder Group Estate & Retirement Specialists.

As a Financial Advisor, Max has made it his goal to always put the client’s interests first. He takes a holistic approach to financial planning and has dedicated his career to providing strategies that aim to help his clients enjoy retirement to the fullest. Having previous experience in the industry helping other Financial Advisors with various product and investment strategy selection, Max is qualified to assist individuals in navigating the complexity of the financial industry. In 2021 Max joined Householder Group Estate and Retirement Specialists because they share the same goals, objectives, and passion in helping clients aim to achieve both financial independence and happiness.

Max is a native Californian who traveled the country with his wife, Kimberly, before settling back in the town they both grew up in to raise their two wonderful children, Abby and Ben. While he to this day remains a student of the industry, studying up-to-date information and industry changes in his free time, you may also find Max supporting the youth baseball league in Ojai Valley or helping to build the business presence of Veterans in Santa Barbara and Ventura. Max is also still an avid traveler, amateur chef, passionate saxophonist, baseball enthusiast, and a devoted husband and father.

Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, AIF®
The Accredited Investment Fiduciary® program is offered through the Center for Fiduciary Studies. Advisors who have earned this designation are able to immediately show that they are interested in and working towards the best interests of their clients. As a prerequisite for the course the advisor must meet a point‐based threshold based on a combination of education, relevant industry experience and/or professional development. In order to obtain this designation an advisor must complete a web‐based program or Capstone program and an exam. In order to maintain this professional designation an advisor must complete 6 hours of continuing education over a 12‐ month cycle.
