Kirk is an experienced investment professional who focuses on financial, estate and asset allocation strategies. Kirk graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Business from Oregon State University where he also played football for the Beavers. With over 19 years of experience at Householder Group Estate and Retirement Specialists LLC, Kirk has focused on helping his clients—individuals, families, and small businesses—address their specific financial goals and objectives. Kirk holds his Series 7, 24, and 66 registrations through LPL Financial and Householder Group Estate & Retirement Specialists. He is also licensed through the state of Washington for life, health, and disability insurance, bringing over two decades of licensing experience to his practice.

Before embarking on his current 20-year journey in the advisory and estate planning industry, Kirk accumulated a rich tapestry of professional experiences that honed his management and strategic planning skills. His career prior to finance saw him at the helm of various high-profile project management roles, where he was instrumental in overseeing complex construction and engineering projects, showcasing his ability to lead, budget, and execute with precision. Concurrently, Kirk demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by venturing into the food service and distribution sectors, where he successfully managed multiple establishments, further diversifying his business acumen. His dedication to service extended beyond the business world, as he also served as a pilot in the Air Force reserves, contributing to national defense. This varied background, combined with his tenure as a project manager in the technology sector, where he guided critical infrastructure projects, provided Kirk with a unique blend of skills—ranging from operational oversight to strategic development—preparing him for the complexities of financial planning and client service.

Kirk has partnered with Householder Group because they share his dedication to the same goals and objectives he believes are necessary to achieve successful outcomes for his clients with integrity and transparency. Like Householder Group, Kirk’s focus is on developing and implementing tax strategies and estate-planning techniques, endeavoring to reduce income and estate taxes for his clients. In addition, Kirk is able to leverage the availability of sophisticated investment strategies that enable him to focus on capital preservation and multi-generational wealth preparation for his clients. Kirk offers a depth of knowledge in many of the critical areas of the financial landscape. He has the experience, education, and vital tools to help his clients design and implement a strategic plan to pursue their individual financial goals.

On a personal level, Kirk has deep roots in the Seattle area and takes pride in co-owning a sprawling family ranch in Oregon. His love for the outdoors is evident in his passion for skiing, camping, and hiking, activities he often shares with his family and close friends. Beyond his outdoor pursuits, Kirk has a strong commitment to giving back to his community. This was particularly demonstrated when he formerly used to play a pivotal role as the “chairman of the board” for Life Changes, a notable support organization dedicated to aiding those in need within the Seattle community. His leadership and dedication during this time reflect his enduring commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
