Damon Ridley is an experienced financial planning professional that specializes in all areas of financial planning, estate planning and asset management. Damon holds his Series 7 and 63 securities registrations through LPL Financial, and his Series 65 registration through LPL Financial and Householder Group Estate and Retirement Specialists.

He also has his licensed through the states of Virginia, DC, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Florida, and New Jersey for life insurance, LTC, and disability. Damon uses his considerable experience and training to develop comprehensive financial plans for his individual and business clients that often include distribution plans for retirement, hands-on investment management strategies, tax planning, business analysis, as well as estate and risk management strategies.

Having grown up in Philly, Damon attended college in sunny CA at University of Southern California where he played football, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Damon lives in the DC metro area with his wife of 12 years, Kimberly, and 2 children Dashon and Kendall. He continues to further his education in the financial industry and you can often find him studying alongside the kids at the kitchen table.

Chartered Financial Consultant® or ChFC®

 The ChFC® program is administered by the American College. This designation requires a core curriculum, plus two or three additional elective courses that focus on various areas of personal financial planning. In addition to successful completion of an exam on areas of financial planning, including income tax, insurance, investment and estate planning, candidates are required to have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a financial industry position. 

To maintain the designation, designees must complete 30 CE credits every two years adhere to ethics standards and comply with The American College Code of Ethics and Procedures.

Chartered Life Underwriter CLU®

 A Chartered Life Underwriter® is a financial professional with extensive knowledge of the life insurance industry and the underwriting process. Certification requires successful completion of eight courses, including several insurance courses, income taxes, estate planning, and several elective courses.

 To receive the CLU® designation, you must also meet experience requirements (three years of full-time work experience or 6,000 hours of part-time work experience) in one of several specific fields, as well as ethics standards, and agree to comply with The American College Code of Ethics and Procedures. Additionally, there is a requirement to meet 30 hours of PACE continuing education every two years.
